Remi Pujol is a French photographer and director. After beginning his career in New York, he now lives and works in Paris. He takes an authentic and energetic approach to his subjects, always seeking truth in addition to beauty in his photographs. “I love when a certain amount of objectivity is visible in a picture,” he says. “Almost like the documentary photography of the early 20th century. The subject is more important than the picture.”

Remi’s work has been featured in various publications such as Vogue US, WSJ Magazine, Elle UK and GQ France. In addition to his photographic work, he now works as a film director for brands such as Lacoste, Glossier, YSL Beauty and Lancôme. However, he is most proud of a project he did for Daytona Bike week. His biggest influences are the vibrant colours of Alex Webb, and Richard Avedon, “for the perfection of the portraits he realised,” says Remi.
